NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
A valid free base entry and paid base entry have the same weight, are drawn from the same frozen list, and can win the same prize. No odds-changing referral bonus is active. See section 4 below.

Every other page here makes a joke out of losing. This one does not. What follows is the operative document for the draw, written to be exact rather than entertaining.
These rules govern the 99 Losers weekly sweepstakes. By entering, whether by the free method or the paid method, you accept them in full.
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1 Sponsor
The sponsor and promoter of this sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is:
The Sponsor operates the 99 Losers website, holds the funds contributed in each cycle, runs the draw, pays the prize, and is responsible for these rules. Any question about the Sweepstakes should go to the email address above.
Production operator structure — not a claim of completion
Before real-money activation, the operator intends to verify a dedicated UK limited company as the legal Sponsor, open the Stripe and Stripe Connect platform under that company, maintain a prize-funds account with an approved business-bank provider, and keep platform operating funds and the 10% administration fee in a separate operating account. Provider acceptance, company registration, account ownership, and the final postal address must be verified before these rules can name them as facts.
2 Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to natural persons who are at least 18 years old at the moment they enter and who are legal residents of one of the eligible territories listed below. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Eligible territories:
- Croatia (HR)
- Slovenia (SI)
- Austria (AT)
- Germany (DE)
- Netherlands (NL)
- Ireland (IE)
- Spain (ES)
- Italy (IT)
- Portugal (PT)
- Finland (FI)
Employees, officers, directors and contractors of the Sponsor, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) and household members of any of them, are not eligible to enter or win.
One person may hold one account and one entry position per cycle, by either method. You confirm your age and country of residence when you create your account. Entering with a false declaration, with more than one account, or by automated means voids every entry held by that person and any prize awarded to them.
3 Entry Period
The Sweepstakes runs in weekly cycles. A cycle opens at 00:00:00 UTC each Monday and closes at 00:00:00 UTC the following Monday. All times are UTC and the Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.
Current cycle: week of 27 July 2026
Opens: 2026-07-27 00:00:00 UTC
Closes: 2026-08-03 00:00:00 UTC
Entries are accepted for the whole of that window. Anything received after the close is recorded against the next cycle. The draw is run once the cycle has closed and its entry list has been frozen.
4. HOW TO ENTER — FREE METHOD (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY)
You may enter every cycle without paying anything. Go to /free, complete the eligibility details, open the sign-in link, and take one entry for the open weekly cycle.
A digital free entry has identical base weight to a paid base entry.
5 How to Enter — Paid Method
The paid method is a monthly subscription of €4.32. It enters the subscriber in every weekly draw while the subscription status is active. There is no weekly card charge.
The prize for each weekly draw is calculated as follows: total entry fees collected, minus payment processing fees, minus a 10% platform administration fee. The remaining amount is awarded in full to the winner. At the configured EEA estimate, one €4.32 charge is approximately €0.31 processing, €0.43 platform administration, and €3.58 net prize funding before it is allocated across weekly draws.
Processing varies by card and region. The draw ledger records gross fees, processing, the platform fee, and the final net prize separately. The live amount is an estimate; the amount frozen at close is the controlling prize.
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges and removes the subscription from future weekly draws.
- An entry already frozen for a weekly draw is not removed by later cancellation.
- Payment is handled by the Sponsor's payment processor. The Sponsor does not store your card details.
6 Entries
Every eligible entrant receives one base entry. There are no active odds-changing bonuses.
Payment amount, subscription age, streak, rank, crew, and predictions never change the base entry. Every additional entry, when the referral feature is enabled, is explicitly labelled in the frozen list.
Loser ranks
Your streak is the number of consecutive cycles you have entered, including the current one. Miss a cycle and the streak restarts. Ranks are recognition only — a badge on your dashboard and a place on the leaderboard. They carry no entries and have no effect on the odds.
| Rank | Consecutive cycles | Entries | Effect on odds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fresh Meat | 1 (first cycle) | 1 | None |
| Certified Loser | 4 or more | 1 | None |
| Serial Loser | 12 or more | 1 | None |
| Professional Loser | 26 or more | 1 | None |
| Hall of Shame | 52 or more | 1 | None |
Every row of that table is worth the same single entry. A member at the top rank and a member in their very first cycle have identical chances of winning.
Referrals
Referral attribution is tracked, but additional referral entries are disabled.
The complete entry list, including every base and referral-bonus entry, is fixed and hashed when the cycle closes.
7 Odds of Winning
One entry is drawn per cycle. An entrant's odds are their number of entries divided by N, where N is the total number of frozen entries. A base entrant has 1 in N odds. No odds-changing referral bonus is active.
N is not fixed in advance. It depends only on how many people enter that cycle. The live count for the open cycle is published on the homepage and updates as members join, so the odds are visible before you decide to enter. The final count for a closed cycle is published on its verification page.
Every individual entry in the frozen list has exactly the same chance of being drawn. The public list shows whether each entry is a base entry or a referral bonus.
8 Prize
One cash prize in euro is awarded per weekly draw. The frozen draw ledger records the complete calculation in integer cents.
The prize for each weekly draw is total entry fees collected, minus payment processing fees (whose percentage component is often approximately 1.4–2.9% depending on the approved processor account and card region, plus any fixed charges), minus a 10% platform administration fee. The exact remaining amount is awarded in full to the winner.
- Gross entry fees. The weekly allocation of collected subscription fees is totalled.
- Payment processing. The recorded or estimated card-processing amount is deducted.
- Platform administration. Ten percent of gross entry fees is deducted.
- Net prize. The exact remainder is recorded and transferred to the winner through the approved payout process.
The percentage of gross remaining is not fixed because processing can include a fixed charge and can vary by card region. At the configured EEA estimate, a €4.32 monthly charge produces approximately €3.58 after €0.31 processing and €0.43 platform administration.
The displayed live prize is an estimate based on active subscriptions. The final net prize is fixed when the weekly entry list closes. If there are no entries, no draw is run. Any tax due on a prize is the winner's responsibility.
9 Winner Selection (Provably Fair)
The winner is selected by a public commit-reveal draw, so that neither the Sponsor nor anyone else can steer the result, and so that anyone can check it afterwards.
- Commit. When a cycle opens, before a single entry is accepted, a random 32-byte seed is generated and the SHA-256 hash of that seed is published. The seed itself stays secret while entries are open.
- Freeze.Entry closes at the cycle's published Monday close instant. The entry list is then frozen: every ticket is numbered, the list is hashed with SHA-256, and that hash is recorded once and published. From that moment no entry can be added, removed or reordered without changing the hash.
- Public randomness. The draw also depends on a public random value published by the drand beacon (operated by the League of Entropy). The round number is fixed when the cycle opens, and that round is not published until one hour after the cycle closes. So the entry list is committed and public before the deciding random value exists, and the random value is not one the Sponsor produces or can influence. If the entry list was not frozen before that round was published, no draw takes place and the cycle is held for manual resolution.
- Reveal. The seed is published. Anyone can hash it and check it matches the commitment made before entries opened.
- Draw. The winning position is derived from HMAC-SHA256, keyed with the seed, over the frozen entry list hash, the published beacon value and a counter. The result is reduced to the number of entries using rejection sampling, so every position is exactly equally likely and there is no bias toward low ticket numbers.
- Verify. Every value above is published for each cycle at 99losers.eu/verify, with the code needed to recompute the result yourself.
The bytes the draw is computed over contain the ticket number, the entry identifier and the member identifier — and deliberately do not contain whether the entry was paid or free. Payment status cannot influence winner selection, by construction rather than by promise.
10 Winner Notification
The Sponsor will notify the winner by email, at the address on their account, within seven (7) days of the draw. It is your responsibility to keep that address current and able to receive our mail.
The winner must reply and supply the details needed to pay them within thirty (30) days of that notification, and may be asked to confirm their identity, age and country of residence before payment. If the winner cannot be reached, does not respond within that period, or is found to be ineligible under section 2, the prize is forfeited.
In that case the alternate winner is the next position produced by continuing the same derivation described in section 9 — the same seed, the same frozen entry list and the same beacon value, with the counter advanced — skipping any ticket held by a member who has forfeited. The entry list itself is never modified.
That distinction matters and is deliberate. Removing entries from the list would change its hash and therefore change the winner, which would hand the Sponsor a way to reach a different result by declaring a winner unreachable. Advancing the counter over the unchanged list produces a sequence that was already fixed by the values published before the draw, so no one — including the Sponsor — can influence who is next.
11 Publication of the Winner
After each draw the Sponsor publishes, on the winners page and on that cycle's verification page: the cycle, the winner's first name and last initial only (for example, "Ana M."), the amount won, and the full set of values needed to verify the draw.
We do not publish email addresses, full names, addresses or any other personal detail. By entering, you agree to this limited publication if you win; it is the minimum needed to show that the Sweepstakes actually paid out. If you would rather not be named at all, tell us at hello@99losers.eu and we will publish the cycle and the amount without the name.
12 Refer a Loser (Referral Reward)
Every member has a referral code and a referral link. A person who creates their account using your code or link is recorded as your referral.
Referral attribution is recorded, but odds-changing referral entries are disabled unless the Sponsor activates the separately reviewed referral-bonus rules.
13 General Conditions
- The Sponsor may disqualify any entry obtained by fraud, by duplicate accounts, by automation, or in breach of these rules, and may close the account behind it.
- If the Sweepstakes cannot be run as planned — technical failure, fraud, or a change in law that makes it unlawful in a territory — the Sponsor may suspend, modify or end it. If a cycle is cancelled before its draw, contributions collected for that cycle are refunded to the members who made them; they are not kept.
- Entries that are incomplete, late, or made by an ineligible person are void. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
- The Sponsor is not responsible for network, device or email failures outside its control that prevent an entry from reaching us. The entry period is a full weekly cycle, and the free method is available throughout it.
- The Sponsor's decisions on eligibility and on the administration of these rules are final. The draw itself is not a matter of anyone's judgement: it is a published computation that any entrant can repeat.
- The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed by, or associated with any social media platform.
- Nothing in these rules limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14 Governing Law
These rules and any dispute arising out of the Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. The courts of Varaždin, Croatia have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts — that right is not affected.
The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
15 Data Protection (GDPR)
OralAdvance Labs d.o.o. is the data controller for the personal data processed for the Sweepstakes. We process your email address, display name, country of residence, your age confirmation, and your entry and contribution records. The legal basis is performance of the contract formed by these rules (running the draw and paying the winner) and, for payment and accounting records, our legal obligations.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own advertising. Records relating to a drawn cycle are kept for as long as we need them to evidence a fair draw and to meet accounting obligations.
You can request access to your data, correction, erasure, portability, or object to processing, by emailing hello@99losers.eu. You may also complain to your national data protection authority — in Croatia, the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
16 Operator Structure Required Before Launch
This section records the intended pre-launch operating structure. It does not state that the company, payment account, or bank accounts already exist.
- A separate UK private limited company, for example 99 Losers Ltd, is to be incorporated through Companies House to operate the promotion and ring-fence it from unrelated businesses. The Sponsor named in section 1 must be changed only after incorporation and legal verification.
- The production Stripe account is to be opened in that company's legal name and may be activated only after Stripe has approved the sweepstakes, Billing, Connect, and payout use case in writing.
- Prize funds are to be held in a dedicated, reconciled business account separate from operating money. The intended providers are Revolut Business or N26 Business, subject to the chosen provider confirming company eligibility and approving the use case.
- Operating expenses and the 10% platform administration fee are to be handled through a separate Wise Business operating account, subject to Wise approving the account and activity.
No provider name in this section is a claim of an existing account or an assurance of acceptance. Before real payments begin, the operator must document ownership, segregation, reconciliation, permitted use, and the approved movement of money between the payment processor, prize account, winner, and operating account.
Still the most important line on this page
No purchase necessary. The no-purchase base entry is worth exactly the same as the paid base entry and can win exactly the same pot.
